Duduf, un animateur 2D chez Ankama, vient de mettre à jour Duik, son outil gratuit de création d’IK pour After Effects.

men i’m in shock since I see de videos make with Duduf IK Tool 6.2, but I don’t know how translate de script to english… I wanna try this script in my AE, but I don’t have any idea how translate the script :( do you have any ideas???

    thanks!!!!!

Well, first of all, do not lose hope, as the author is actually making an english version. The big problem is that the expressions are not compatible from a language to another, so every reference to « paramètre glissière»  in the expressions for the french version is to update to « slider control»  in the english version.

But, and I haven’t tried it, if you are familiar with expressions, you can try to translation script by nab. You can download it here: http://www.nabscripts.com/downloads_en.html (script « TranslateExpression» ). And if you have CS3, you can still run AE in french (in your After Effects folder, you have a subfolder called « languages»  and select the After Effect FR shortcut :)

Hello ! The expressions created by Duik do not have to be translated, even when using Duik in French! Every time a slider is created, it is renamed so it can be used in any language ;) The translation of Duik is only about the Script himself and the website.

Thanks for clearing that up Duduf.

Pour une fois qu’un outil est en français, c’est pas évident d’expliquer à nos amis Shakespearien comment le faire fonctionner chez eux :)
